“A Place For Grace” Child Care Helps People With Special Needs

“A Place For Grace” Child Care which serves people with special needs from birth through adulthood held a “One Special Night” fundraiser at the Trillium Banquet Hall on State Street in Saginaw Township Thursday.

Founder and CEO Jenny Dumont says the event raised money for tuition scholarships to help families in need plus services like art and music therapy along with equipment like sensory toys.

Dumont added “A Place For Grace” serves 26 clients from its location near Center and Gratiot in Saginaw Township. That includes her own 12-year-old daughter named Grace who functions like a six year old due to developmental delays and cognitive impairments plus a rare form of epilepsy.
