(Charlie Rood) Yesterday – Thursday, October 13 – First Lady Michelle Obama spoke out against Donald Trump and his words heard on the videotape.
At one point, Mrs. Obama said Trump was, “using language so obscene that many of us are worried about our children hearing it when we turn on the TV.”
Agreed. What Trump said was nasty stuff.
But, apparently Mrs. Obama does have a tolerance for nasty language and those that spew it. In fact, she (and President Obama) hosted it at the White House.
Evidence? This past July, President and Mrs. Obama welcomed rapper Kendrick Lamar to the White House for a 4th of July barbecue and concert. Janelle Monáe was another musical artist present. Let’s focus on Lamar.
In a USA Today online article covering this event, President Obama is described as a “long-documented Kendrick fan”. So, you think he would know, and Mrs. Obama would know, the language he uses in his songs.
USA Today reported Lamar’s setlist reportedly included: “Swimming Pools (Drank)”, “Money Trees”, “(Expletive), Don’t Kill My Vibe”, “Poetic Justice”, “A.D.H.D.” and “Alright”. USA Today used “(Expletive), Don’t Kill My Vibe” because even USA found the word “bitch” intolerable to print.
What about the language in those songs? You won’t find it here, because as Mrs. Obama might say, Lamar uses “language so obscene that many of us are worried about our children hearing it when we turn on the TV.”
If you care to read any lyrics of Lamar’s setlist from the White House (I’m guessing he used the clean versions)….. You may have to copy and paste……………

By the way, at this White House event, the Obama children were there. Malia was even treated to a rendition of Happy Birthday (she turned 18). I’m guessing her parents did not get her Kendrick Lamar’s “Greatest Hits” album as a gift.
