Informal Open House Attracts Residents Comments On Bay City Master Plan Update

Some 40 people came through the lower level of Bay City Hall over two hours Wednesday evening to share their thoughts and ideas on the proposed city Master Plan update.

Facilitators from planning consultants Carlisle/Wortman Associates  of Ann Arbor helped focus comments into areas ranging from Housing and Neighborhoods to Economic Development plus Recreation and Entertainment.

Attendees say they want to see opportunities for growth in all areas of the city facilitated by the revised Master Plan which should be finalized by year’s end.
