First Day Preview For Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013

Another Sunday is almost upon us, and I’m getting ready for another awesome edition of WSGW’s First Day with Pat Johnston from 6-9am on 790AM, 100.5M, and online at

I’ve got a lot planned for those of you preparing to wake-up dark and early tomorrow morning.

First of all, Bill Hewitt makes a rare guest-starring appearance from the WSGW Newsroom.  Bill will provide all the news updates throughout the show.

wsgwI’ll give you the sports updates, including Red Wings and Saginaw Spirit hockey, college basketball, and a brief sports commentary at 6:44am.

This week’s “Pat Political Point” will feature an interview I recorded a few days ago with MLive’s Susan Demas about the current gun control debate.  Susan doesn’t shy away from sharing her opinion on the issue.

We’ll have Movie Trivia at 8:40am, as always.

wsgwI’ve got some fantastic Music Minutes to share with you this week, including Little Richard, Eric Clapton, Suzanne Vega, My Bloody Valentine, and The Beatles Minute.

Remember, you can always share your thoughts and criticisms by emailing me at

Have a great rest of the weekend!
