First Day Preview, February 2, 2014

Another edition of WSGW’s First Day with Pat Johnston & Hilary Farrell is coming your way tomorrow morning from 6-9am on 790AM, 100.5FM, online at, or right here on the blog!

We’ve got a booked show scheduled tomorrow.  Naturally, Hilary will bring you the latest, breaking news from the 24-Hour WSGW Newsroom throughout the show.

We’ll have the latest AccuWeather forecasts so you know what to expect as you head-out on Super Bowl Sunday.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, I’ll give you my final “Pat’s Perfect NFL Picks” segment of the year with my prediction for the Bowl that is Super!

Hey, not only is tomorrow Super Bowl Sunday, but it’s also Groundhog Day!  Hilary and I will go live to Punxsutawney, PA around 7:30am when Punxsutawney Phil will reveal whether or not we six more weeks of winter or if Spring Is Near!

Phil! Phil! Phil!!!
Phil! Phil! Phil!!!

I’ll also have the Saturday sports results with Saginaw Spirit hockey, Michigan State basketball, and more!

Music Minutes will feature the work of The Impressions, CSN, Buddy Holly, St. Vincent, The Beatles Minute at 7:57am and “Hilary’s Song of the Week” at 8:45am!

As usual, “Pat’s Movie Trivia” returns at 8:40am, and I’ll have to take-on the well-connected with this week’s “Pat’s Political Point” at 7:40am.

All that plus Hilary will share with us some other important–though obscure–holidays we should be celebrating on Sunday, and Hils will give us her Super Bowl picks.

Hope you can join us tomorrow morning.

Have a great rest of the weekend, and please be safe!
