Election Day March and Rally Held in Saginaw

sag-naacp-election-day-march-4The Saginaw branch of the NAACP held an election day march and rally Tuesday morning. The group carried signs and walked about 1.5 miles down S. Washington Ave., from near Saginaw City Hall, to Word of Faith Ministries, just past the Dow Event Center.

Spokesman Terry Pruitt said the march was aimed at encouraging all residents to get out and vote, not just the minority community.
