Lone Suspect Robs Freeland Area Bank

Authorities are continuing the investigation of Tuesday's bank robbery in Freeland. Tittabawassee Township Police say a lone suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the Chemical Bank branch at 230 North Main just after 9:00 a.m.
 
The robber, described as a heavy set white man, about 5'10', gave a teller a note saying it was a robbery and he had a gun. No weapon was seen.
 
Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing jeans, with a white polo shirt with horizontal blue stripes, a white baseball cap with a yellow block "M," and mirrored sunglasses. He left the bank heading north on Midland Road, driving a 2003 or 2004, teal-colored Chevrolet Malibu 4 door.
 
The FBI, State Police and Saginaw County Sheriff deputies are assisting with the investigation.
