Area Residents Urged To Practice Emergency Response Procedures

Area residents are enjoying warmer temperatures after a long, cold winter.

But Saginaw County 911 Director Tom McIntyre says spring storms can sometimes be severe and potentially life threatening including tornadoes. McIntyre advises families to think ahead and prepare by practicing what to do if a tornado or home fire strikes.

Activities included 911 Saginaw County dispatchers remotely activating some 60 warning sirens located throughout the county on Wednesday as part of their annual severe weather week testing and preparedness procedures.
